So Britney Spears has officially lost her mind. Not just because she shaved her head, whatever floats your boat. It doesn't even look that bad. But the way she did it and the reasoning she gave is just proof that she is losing her damn mind. You should not be able to check yourself out of rehab, I know it's like unconstitutional to hold someone against their will when they haven't done anything illegal, but if you aren't stable you shouldn't be able to check yourself out, come on. The fact that she went into a salon and asked the woman to shave her head and when the woman wouldn't she fucking did it herself, forreal Brit?! Then she tells the hair lady and the tattoo dude that she just doesn't want people to touch her anymore?!!?! Like physically? cause maybe you should see someone about that. The weirdest thing to be was the pictures of her in the tattoo shop showed her with a shaved head and the Jewish star around her neck..really? cause I'm pretty sure you are DEFINATELY NOT Jewish, you're from the fucking bible belt. It totally creeped me out, not gunna lie. I'm interested to see what happens to that girl.
Speaking of crazy ass girls, how about Anna Nicole Smith litterally dropping DEAD. ANND they still don't know who the baby's daddy is for whatever reason. I'm sorry but it does not take 6 autopsies to find out why someone dropped dead. My theory is that they are just trying to cover up her suicide or her lawyer killing her. The endtertainment industry is seriously FUCKED UP! And I love it.
I love that these stories can beat out starving children and wars on the news. It's a sad sad world.

Funny Things
I like when little funny things happen that make me smile. For instance, I've subscriber to the Hanson podcast called Taking The Walk, which gives previews of their upcoming album as well as showing their docu-series Strong Enough To Break. I was pretty stoked when I found out about this cause the past few years I've been dying to see the documentary. But anyways I was watching the episode they put up today and it involves them having trouble getting ahold of their A&R guy at Island/DefJam to find out what he thinks about the things they had recorded so far. Everytime they called the A&R guy's assistant would answer and tell them he was busy doing something. But I recognized the assistant as having an Australian accent, and imediatly I thought about Ben's assistant Mike from over the summer and I was thinking how weird it would be if it was the same guy. And then the next thing I know Taylor says "Michael,...." and I got really happy and excited and was like I KNOW HIM!!! ahaha. It was really funny. Too bad him and Ben both lost their jobs, I wonder where they are now. I need to ask Ariel.
I have so much new music I want to listen to..some of which is litterally new and other stuff that is really really old but new to me. I'm taking this History of Rock class and it can be really fascinating sometimes. Although right now I am somewhat bored with it just because we are learning about Sun Records, and I have already learned about Sun Records several times when I took Record Labels in Pop Culture, so it's some what dry. But my professor posts mp3's of a lot of songs and i need to start listening to them.
On a non-music related note, we had to take our new kitten to a friends house for the night cause our stupid ass landord is doing unnecissary work in our apartment today and tomorrow morning. The things we are doing for this cat and we have only had her for a week. Poor thing.

Long Time No See
So I haven't updated this thing in MONTHS. I think I need to bring it back even though no one really reads it, which sucks but it's not like I can make people read it.
The new Fall out Boy album, Infinity On High, came out today. I admit I downloaed it 2 weeks ago but hey I already had it preordered so no one can be mad. It's quite possibly going to be the best CD I buy in 2007.
When I woke up this morning I decided to buy a pre sale ticket to the Honda Civic Tour at Darien Lake in May. I wasn't going to but I decided I need to hear the CD live, PLUS I haven't seen The Academy Is.. in like a lifetime and a half and I've been wanting to see Cobra Starship. I really don't care about Plus 44 and the fact that Paul Wall is on the tour is just mind boggling to me. But like my friend Marissa said there has got to be meaning to their madness for that one. I guess they are try to attract a wide range of people? I guess it worked for Bamboozle last year with method man so who knows.
Bamboozle is a whole other story. I can't decide if I want to go, and I definately don't think I can afford it but of course if I decide I want to go I'll prolly find a way to make it happen.
Money is the worst thing ever. I need a job here at school like no other. It's completely rediculous.
I mean I don't even drink often and I spend way too much mone on alcohol. The fact that Nikki turned 21 and gave me her old fake ID doesn't help, bars suck for making me spend too much money. So I'm going to stop going to the bars as much as possible. I mean I only really drink on the weekends, I don't know how alcoholics afford their habbitt.
Then we adopted a kitten so that's just another expense and we aren't even really allowed to have her, we're hiding her from our landlord.
AND I hope to go to Paris this summer. Hopefully I'm not dreaming about that.
Back to music.
Hanson has a new CD coming out titled, The Walk. I'm not even going to lie I'm pretty excited and they'll prolly tie with the new Fall Out Boy CD for best of 2007. I also plan on going to see them if they tour this summer...I'll go to as many shows as I can.
They have a podcast I subscribed to that gives previews of the album and "episodes" of their documentary, Strong Enough To Break," that's the main reason I watch it. I've been dying to see this documentary for a few years now, I think it will be pretty interesting because it's about how corupt the music industry is and all the struggles they went through with Island/DefJam.
I haven't been to any shows in a while, except ones on campus.
Last Friday I went to see Kiss Kiss and The Feverfew play with some bands from campus. And I have to say the Feverfew was rediculously amazing, that girl has the craziest voice, it was intense. Kiss Kiss was interesting, I really liked them but I was soooo sick I only stayed for the first 3 songs cause the show was running really really late. The only band from campus I liked was Astronauts. I think I love anything that is like piano rock, it makes me swoon.
I really wish I could be a rocker chick, like play piano in a dancey rock band or somehting. I think it would be soo fun..if only I had talent. hahaha, that's kinda important.
I'm taking the most interesting class this semester called Commerce and Consumerism in Music. Maybe I'll start writing about that class.
I think this post is long enough for today.
